Founder & Chairman
After holding various positions in the automotive industry and international trade, he joined Turkish Airlines in 2003 and served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for six years. In 2010, he was appointed Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing Network Planning, Revenue Management, Corporate Communications, Corporate Agreements, Alternative Distribution Channels, and the global Marketing and Sales organization.
Over a decade, he helped grow the company’s turnover from USD 1.2 billion to USD 10 billion and played a central role in building a sustainable commercial organization that positioned Turkish Airlines as a globally recognized premium brand. During this period, the airline expanded its network to more than 250 destinations, becoming the carrier flying to more countries than any other airline in the world.
He initiated major global sports and brand partnerships, including the Turkish Airlines Open Golf Tournament, sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, and international PR campaigns featuring global brand ambassadors Lionel Messi and Kobe Bryant. He also played a key role in Turkish Airlines’ transformation from a regional airline into a global network carrier, helping establish Istanbul as a major international hub.
In 2014, he joined SunExpress as Deputy Managing Director, representing Turkish Airlines in the joint venture with Lufthansa. In 2013, he was selected among the world’s first 30 “Internationalist Marketers” by Internationalist Magazine. He also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Turkish Technic and as a Board Member of Turkbine Gas Turbines and SunExpress.
Founder & Vice Chairman
After holding various leadership roles in international sales, marketing, and commercial operations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, a 25+ year career was built spanning aviation, travel, international trade, and manufacturing.
Over two decades were spent with Turkish Airlines, holding multiple senior executive roles including General Manager for China and Guangzhou, General Manager for Pakistan, Director of Sales & Marketing in Ukraine, Director for the Netherlands, and VP Sales (Europe). During this period, a key role was played in expanding the airline’s global footprint, launching and scaling new markets, building high-performing international sales organizations, and strengthening Turkish Airlines’ commercial presence across Asia and Europe. This leadership supported Turkish Airlines’ evolution into a truly global network carrier and contributed to positioning Istanbul as a strategic international hub.
Following the tenure at Turkish Airlines, growth initiatives continued across the travel and industrial sectors. Responsibilities included serving as VP of Sales & Marketing at Sayahat Kanali, shaping commercial strategy, partnerships, and revenue growth for a digital travel platform, and acting as Head of Purchase at Duyar Valve, overseeing strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships to strengthen cost efficiency and supply chain performance.
Throughout this career, multi-country operations were managed, multicultural teams were led, large-scale commercial partnerships were negotiated, and market entry and expansion strategies were driven in highly competitive international environments. Known for building sustainable commercial organizations and turning emerging markets into scalable growth platforms, this leadership style combines strategic vision with hands-on execution.
